Discotek Media Responds to fan questions!

“We’ve been getting lots of emails about the Fist of the North Star TV series. Yes we will finish the series all the way until episode 152. We hope to release the 3rd box in July. And then the 4th box in September or October. These will be English subbed.”

This is great! an official wording on when we shall receive the final two sets, time to start saving!

Discotek Media confirm TV Set 2 details!!

Hi guys! For those interested in the second Discotek Media set, It has been confirmed to me today that the set will be using the official Toei animation subs, with the name errors and alike fixed! I dont think we could ever forget the famous “You don’t even know you are already dead!”  thankfully, as in the first set, this has been shortened to the famous “You are already dead!”. Contrary to some beliefs, the set will NOT be dubbed, and won’t contain any extras like the first. Many thanks to Discotek Media’s Selby for this information. I hope to obtain a copy of this set at the earliest back end of next week, so I’ll be doing a video review as and when I can.

Ken’s Rage DLCs now on Xbox Live

I’d like to announce that some downloadable content for the Xbox 360 version of Fist of the North Star: Ken’s Rage is now available to download as of today!

The DLCs include

  • Kenshiro’s original outfit
  • Outlaw as a playable charcter
  • A pack of Heart as playable and 2 new missions

The outfit for Kenshiro on Xbox Live will cost 240 MSP, the Outlaw DLC will cost 560 MSP and the Heart character and new missions will cost 560 MSP.

When the DLCs arrive for Playstation Network is unsure, there is a good chance they will have them either by this thursday or next week, keep a look out for them PS3 owners.
